Saint-Malo, October 18, 2017 – C-Log, specialist in Retail Supply Chain and E-commerce, announces the acquisition of the Belgian company EW-LOGISTICS, based in Antwerp. This development strategy is part of the continuity of the Certified Economic Operator (OEA-Full) certification. Its purpose is to accelerate the international supply chain development of C-Log.
“First of all, the acquisition of EW-LOGISTICS allows us to start our business in Belgium with an operational office in Antwerp. A large part of the import flows of our customers transit through the port of Antwerp. Then, this acquisition allows us to concretely envisage prospects for improving these flows. This is a real opportunity to accelerate C-Log’s international supply chain. On the one hand, by the current positioning of EW-LOGISTICS and on the other hand, by the skills of the team in place,” said Benoît Garçon, CEO of C-Log.

Optimizing international supply chain flows as a priority
In short, the newly created synergies will allow C-Log to build skills on customs issues. But also on the incoming import flows to Europe on behalf of its customers. Under the responsibility of Stefan CORNELISSENS, EW-LOGISTICS has been developing Transport and Customs expertise on international flows (maritime, air and road) for more than 25 years. More than 160 customers today rely on EW-LOGISTICS, which represents an annual transit volume of 3,000 TEUs (20-foot containers). These customers will now be able to access a wider variety of international Supplychain services: logistics, upstream and downstream transport and consulting.
